But what happens when no single title, niche or role can hold everything you are?
What happens when you choose one direction, begin building it, and another skill, idea or way of serving appears?

Not because those other parts of you no longer matter, but because you have been taught that success requires you to choose.

I Tried to Choose One Thing
Coach. Healer. Sound therapist. Reflexologist. Music producer. Audiobook producer. Web designer. Graphic designer. Author.
For years, I believed there had to be one clear title that could explain who I was and one sensible direction that could make everything I had done finally make sense.
Each time I found something that felt right, another part of me appeared.
Another skill. Another idea. Another way I wanted to serve.
Believing I needed to focus, I narrowed the direction and quietly pushed the rest aside.
In June 2024, in silent desperation, I joined another business program and committed to following the advice exactly as it was taught. I chose the niche. I built the offer. I created the content and prepared to launch.
Eight months later, exhausted and three days before the doors were due to open, I cancelled everything.
From the silence that followed came one word: WRITE.
That instruction led me somewhere I could not have predicted.
It led me through the businesses I had built, the skills I had collected, the ideas I had followed, the things that had worked and the things that had fallen apart.
Eventually, it led me to the answer that had been there all along.
FUCK THE BOX.
This Is Not About Saying “Fuck the System”
The advice to choose one thing and become known for it is not wrong.
It is not true for everyone.
A box can be useful. It can help you explain an offer, organise an idea, build a business or focus on what matters right now.
The problem begins when you believe that box has to hold the whole of you.
FUCK THE BOX is not an instruction to abandon structure, reject responsibility or turn every skill and interest into a business.
It is an invitation to stop expecting one part of yourself to explain the whole of you.
It is here to show multi-skilled, multidimensional people that there is another way.
