Do you know how to trust your intuition?

There's something almost too perfect about today. It's the 7th of July, and if you've spent any time around numerology or spiritual circles, you already know that the number 7 has long been associated with intuition, inner knowing, and the quiet wisdom that lives beneath the noise of everyday thinking. It felt like the right day to ask the question I get asked more than almost any other.
Most people think trusting your intuition is something you either have or you don't. Either you're one of those lucky, gifted people who just know things, or you're not, and you spend your whole life waiting for a certainty that never quite arrives. But that's not how it works. Intuition isn't a switch. It's a process. And once you understand the process, you stop waiting for magic and start building a real relationship with your own inner voice.
Here's what most people never get taught. Intuition moves through four stages, and every single one of them needs to be developed before you can actually live guided by it, consistently and without second-guessing yourself.
The first stage is receiving it. This is the moment the nudge arrives. The flash, the whisper, the sudden knowing that drops in before your mind has time to build a case for or against it. Most people miss this stage entirely, not because their intuition isn't speaking, but because they're too busy, too stressed, or too far in their head to notice the drop-in when it happens.
The second stage is acknowledging it. This is where you actually pause and register what you received, instead of letting it slide past unnoticed. Acknowledgment is what tells your own subconscious that this inner voice is safe to receive and worth paying attention to.
The third stage is acting on it. This is the part that scares people, because it asks you to move before you have proof. But this is also where the real transformation happens. Every small action you take based on an intuitive hit teaches your nervous system that following your inner guidance is safe.
The fourth stage is celebrating the outcome. This one gets skipped constantly, and it might be the most important of all. When you notice that a hunch was right, and you actually let yourself feel good about it, you're reinforcing the entire cycle. You're teaching yourself, on a real neurological level, that your intuition is worth listening to next time.
Most of us are only working with one or two of these stages at best, which is exactly why intuition can feel so unreliable, so easy to dismiss, or so easy to talk yourself out of. It was never actually unreliable. It just wasn't being given the full cycle it needs to work.
I'm not going to walk you through the how today. Not because it's complicated, it's actually incredibly simple, but because it deserves more than a quick post. Inside Spiritual A.I., I teach a tool called the Traffic Light Game that develops all four of these stages at once, in real time, with zero pressure and zero special conditions. It's playful, it's fast, and it has quietly changed the way thousands of people relate to their own inner knowing.
So on this 7/7, let it be a nudge of its own. Not to figure it all out today, but to start paying attention to which of these four stages you're already doing well, and which ones you've been skipping without realising it.
Your intuition has been speaking to you all along. Today might just be the day you start actually listening.
